And I want you to know that when I wake up, when I go to bed, I still hear that song in my head, the one that goes 'The sun comes up...' There are only two songs that play on the turntable of my life right now, in constant, almost annoyingly persistent rotation - that, and Song For Ten. Well, and maybe Bye Bye Blackbird and Funny Face gets some airtime when I'm feeling less maudlin.

I guess you're having the time of your life in KL right now, being brand rep for a brand even I wouldn't mind working for. Annick Goutal's fabulous and even if you're still assured about Terre D'Hermes' superiority I'm sure you'll find it in your heart to embrace something that may fail trying to seduce you, but nonetheless tries with much persistence and, dare I say it, charm.

I'm doing fine in London, now that I've been deferred till next year. Sometimes things like these happen and I can't help but think that they happen for a reason. As my friend said, 'When life hands you lemons, find a cold salmon and squirt over it, and enjoy...' :-P So these days I'm back at the gym, running my life out on the treadmill, trying to get back into shape, although for what I have no idea. Still, the enervating monotony of exercise somehow gives me a sense of achievement, of direction.

So this is all I wanted to say. I'd love to talk to you again. And I miss you. I miss your tuneless singing in your pseudo-singlais accent, your little tap dances, your smile. And of course your eyes when they smile too.
